The Three Kingdoms

Years of conflict on the supercontinent (also known as Drustan) has led the massive expanse of land to be divided into three seperate kingdoms. Each are distinct and in the past never got along. In recent years, however, the wars have ended and an uneasy peace has settled. For the first time in many years, people are travelling between the nations. The adventure is set in the kingdom of Erramun. The three kingdoms are:

Beldkral

The western kingdom of Beldkral borders Erramun and the western coast of the World Sea. The land is mountainous and cool. The population is primarily made up of dwarves, with populations of gnomes and humans also existing in the less mountainous regions. The kingdom is ruled by a Galfax an ancient dwarven ruler of the clans. The current Galfax’s name is Myrdon. The clans themselves play important roles in the administration of the land. The primary faith is that of Moradin and other dwarven deities. Beldkrallers are characterized by being distant, cold and stubborn at worst. At best they are considered loyal, stalwart and hardworking.

Erramun

The central kingdom of Erramun borders both Beldkral and Myaith. The land is flat and river-filled. The population is primarily made up of humans, though every other race is present. In particular the misfit races, such as Half-Elves and Half-Orcs, find a home in this kingdom. The kingdom is ruled by a monarch, currently Queen Gellana. A prime deity is difficult to identify, with the extensive human pantheon being widely worshipped. All of the pantheons find places of worship in Erramun, however. Erramunians are diverse, changing from region to region and even village to village.

Myaith

The eastern kingdom of Myaith borders Erramun and the eastern coast of the World Sea. The land is forested and verdant. The population is made up primarily of elves, with populations of halflings and humans also existing in the less forested regions. The kingdom is ruled by the Elder Council, a confederation of ancient elves that vote on issues of administration and rule. The primary faith is that of Corellon and other elven deities. Myaithans are characterized by being flighty, overbearing and arrogant at worst. At best they are considered creative, inventive and accommodating.
